Our most recent large project, and right up our alley, this campaign uses the language of comics to reach people internationally about kidney disease. Paul designed many characters for this series of large comic book posters which help convey info and raise awareness about diagnosis and treatment. We also helped develop the logo and a wealth of collateral material, such as trade show animation and booth art.

Featuring Dylan, Jessie, Eugene, Mr. Whitmore and the rest of the Odyssey clan, Paul adapted story ideas into eight four-page comics, inserted throughout the book. From DC Comics' Impact line, The Fly is based on the character created by legendary team Jack Kirby and Joe Simon. Paul teamed up with friends on most of the 17-issue run, inking Mike Parobeck's pencils on stories by writer Len Strazewski.
The Fly was a throwback to an earlier type of superhero comic book, especially at the time it was published in 1991. For the kid who always wanted to draw Spider-Man, this was close enough.
